I started my career as a Call Center Agent (Cold Caller) 5 years ago with Support Zebra, where I performed cold calling, outbound pre-sales calls, and market surveys. In that role, I was able to help an entire campaign by becoming “Acer of the year” where I was given the chance to meet and slightly train some of the new employees who were having trouble with their stats.
But my career as an agent sparked when I was introduced to another campaign as a Sales Admin where I was tasked to both outbound sales calls for SalesNexus, a company that provides CRM software solution for small-to-medium enterprise at the same time I also receive inbound calls, emails and chat support to assist our clients. And in that role, I learned a lot of things like time management, multi-tasking, empathy, patience, and how to work smart.
3 years later I was promoted to a Team Leader position where I handled similar accounts I went through. During that role, a major accomplishment I’m most proud of was that I was able to address the toxicity in the entire team and helped the team how to be more efficient with their different tasks. This resulted in having a healthier work environment and improved attendance and absenteeism statistics.
and after 2 years, just this year I decided to further my professional career by moving out of the corporate world and into the home-based dimension.
